For its very first edition, the Viva Technology event will be uniting more than 30 000 visitors at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris, from 30th June to 2nd July. Present during this event will be WebHelp, a major player in external Customer Experience and the AccorHotels group, who will both be welcoming innovative start-ups on their respective stands to give them the opportunity to show how their technology is reinventing their particular field.
Featuring among this technology are the BEAM mobile telepresence robot and the RELAY autonomous mobile delivery robot from Savioke.
BEAM is reinventing Customer Experience at the WEBHELP CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE LAB
“How do you implement a seamless multi-channel Customer Experience?”? This is the challenge that Awabot is getting ready to meet with its BEAM technology, on the WEBHELP Customer Experience Lab (stand WHE_19). Already used in certain retail outlets such as the LICK connected object shops , the BeamPro telepresence robot is helping to simplify the customer experience by pooling together the customer advisors and experts available in the centres and having them assist people in the shop, remotely and upon request.
RELAY brings « room service » to the ACCORHOTELS « HOSPITALITY & TOURISM » LAB
The RELAY robot, designed and created by the American company Savioke and recently launched in France and in Europe by Awabot, is currently operational in around ten hotel chains in the USA, including the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn in California, where it is providing the « room service ». The robots have already successfully made more than 30 000 deliveries and have notched up a 95% customer satisfaction rating.
It has been chosen by the AccorHotels group to provide the « room service » at the « Hospitality & Tourism » lab (stand n°ACC_17).
BeamPro at the service of the virtual visitors to the Discovery area
The Viva Technology event centre, the Discovery area, highlights many different innovations and two BeamPro mobile telepresence robots are present there to enable remote visitors, connected to robots, to experience the event almost as if they were really there.
